Anti-Trafficking Charter: zero tolerance

Every person present on Weared must be there freely, of full age and consenting. We categorically refuse to be associated, directly or indirectly, with human trafficking or the exploitation of others. No profit, no discretion, no commercial consideration takes precedence over this principle.

• Any participation, direct or indirect, in trafficking or procuring;
• Any person acting under coercion, threat, debt or abusive influence;
• Any involvement, real or suggested, of minors or persons of minor-like appearance;
• The sale of content or items originating from a non-consenting person;
• Recruitment, incitement or introduction for the purposes of exploitation.

These prohibitions supplement the Prohibited items page and prevail over any other provision in case of doubt.

Our moderation teams are trained to recognise indicators of coercion: accounts controlled by a third party, verification inconsistencies, wording suggesting an absence of consent, coordinated networks of accounts. Any such signal triggers a priority review and, where necessary, immediate suspension.

Every member is invited to report any suspicious situation without delay through the site's confidential channels. Reports are handled seriously, confidentially and as a priority. In Switzerland, anyone may also turn to the competent authorities and to services supporting victims of trafficking.

Where serious evidence suggests an offence, Weared cooperates with the Swiss judicial and police authorities and transmits to them the legally required information. Our confidentiality undertaking towards members yields in the face of a legal order or the protection of a person in danger.

Any breach results, without notice, in: removal of the content, permanent termination of the account, secure retention of the evidence and, where appropriate, referral to the Swiss authorities. No refund of funds is owed to the perpetrator of such a breach.
